Danstar Productions has been in the entertainment business since 1990, when it was founded by President Janet Marie. It is located in Malibu, California.
The company has shifted its primary focus from television and radio production into music production and publishing, and our web site, danstarproductions.net, is a reflection of this exciting direction. Because the company has a strong background in TV and film production, it now focuses on licensing its music catalog to the entertainment industry. For recent placements, see our press page.

In addition to executive producing the songs premiering on this site, Danstar Productions has also produced over seventy television commercials, various radio shows on KIEV-AM ("Love Patrol"), American Radio Network ("Spotlight"), various videos, and pilots ("Smarten Up Minute", "RomancePower Club" (see photo above).
New songs are always in preparation - we are on a roll! All songs are the output of Danstar's strategic partnership with exceptionally talented composer, Karen Soroca, in the songwriting partnership of Soroca & Allocca.
Janet Marie, the "Allocca" in Soroca & Allocca, has a longstanding background in television. She worked her way up from a TV commercial Production Assistant (Campbell's Soup, Dodge) to Production Manager (music videos for Earth, Wind and Fire, The Police, and Rod Stewart, the syndicated music show "Jukebox with Britt Eklund"). Then she segued to ABC-TV, where she was a unit manager and studio executive ("Olympics", "General Hospital", "American Bandstand", post-production, etc.). Subsequently, she became an indie producer. Some of those independent credits included Producer/Publisher of "Today's Internet" on the TalkAmerica Radio Network, and line producer its TV version on WPBT (PBS), Miami.
